I purchased this item because it matched the other accessories. However over past 4 years have had to repair spout twice. For 20 $ you’d think it would be better made.I'm a property manager for vacation rental homes, and have put these in several of them. They work pretty well, but there are a couple problems. It's not always easy to tell the amount of soap in them, and from now on I'm purchasing dispensers that have clean glass. However, that may not be such a big feature to others. the biggest problem I've had, however, is that the bottom metal base tends to fall off after prolonged use. The inside of the base is rusted and it no longer adheres. I'm not sure quite why that's happening since these are just sitting on a sink top and not unduly exposed to water, but it's happened on several of them.One of the four we ordered arrived cracked in half. They had been packed in only the 1/4" bubble wrap "sleeves" they were obviously mfg in, which had more than half the bubbles popped, and then simply thrown into the box on top of the tissue holders we also ordered. These are also much taller than I would have expected. I'm sitting here at my kitchen table with a 19oz tumbler/drinking glass from Crate & Barrel (which I thought was a good sized tumbler) and the tumbler is dwarfed by the soap dispenser. Think we'll be returning these and trying the shorter ones to see if those are any better.It took three tries to get two containers which had tops that were not cracked. It turns out that the caps and the plunger are seemingly metal, but are in fact plastic. Both one of the two I ordered and the replacement that was sent had cracked sleeves that covered the threaded plastic caps. On the third try I finally received an intact second dispenser. Since all I will be doing in future is unscrewing the caps to replenish the soap and hand lotion they should last a long time,(I hope!)This is really cute but the spout keeps coming off. But I just put it back on bc I don't want to go through the process to get a replacement or refund. Shipping was long.I liked the look of this but after only a two months the spout would pop out making it impossible to pump the soap.The style of this soap pump is exactly what I wanted. However, after a few months of use, the thin nozzle through which the soap is dispensed fell off. It pushes right back into the pump but does keep falling off. If this didn't happen, it'd be perfect.Bottom gets rusty
