We had an under sink pullout garbage that I actually like better then this. When our sink was replaced though we needed a shorter system. This is shorter so will hold less garbage but, it’s what would fit. The lid, which I liked the idea, kept getting hung up so we removed it. It’s super stiff pulling it in and out but it does the job.I uploaded the instructions (hopefully it doesn't get pulled for copyright). They contain actual dimensions which may help you squeeze this in tight spaces.The best thing about this product is that it's small and compact. It fits under the sink and small enough to not interfere with the garbage disposal. Pay careful attention to step 1 of the instructions. The top cover needs to be lifted at least a couple inches for the rear hooks to unlatch, freeing the cover. I thought I'd be cleaver and recess the unit further (117mm vs 88mm specified in step 1) so the top cover clears the cabinet, making it easier to remove for cleaning. Unfortunately was a bit too far back and made it difficult to remove the large bin as it now interferes with the cabinet. Luckily the bin is plastic and flexes so I'm still able to wiggle the bin out.My main complaint is the smaller bin is a bit too small to be really useful. It won't fit a gallon milk jug and a 2L soda bottle will fill it up. I'd prefer just one large garbage bin. It would also be nice to be able move the large bin to the front.This must be the most expensive trash can I ever purchased but with good reasons. In short, it delivered on all my demands and I am happy with it. We wanted to have one with a lid. Check. Since our pipes come out through the bottom of the cabinets, we needed something that is not on rails attached to the floor because there is no room for it. Check. Two separate containers for trash and kitchen waste. Check. We don't have too much room and it fits just so. Check. The only other downside than the price, is that it is a tad hard to open, which has to do with the soft close I assume. I wish it would be not as sticky when opening up.Very well made. Not heavy, but very solidly built. You have to REALLY pull on it to open. Once open about an inch or 2, it glides open effortlessly. Simple to swap out bags. Standard size grocery bags fit fine, even in the larger bin; Bit of a stretch but they do fit. Take measurements before purchasing. We installed in a blank standard sized cabinet. Likely won't fit in a cabinet with even a small shelf or sink plumbing.These cans are easy to install and pretty sturdy. The size of the bags is hard to figure out. We nailed it down to simple human size F for the big can. The sliding is a bit hard at the beginning for a person who is not so strong. But after a while it gets better.Love this trash can? my husband was not home when i received it, and i really wanted to use it, i installed it myself so easy... you can use 8 gallon trash bags , those fit perfect.. the front section i use for recycling. It closes easly and softly when you push it closed BEST OF ALL KEEPS TRASH ODOR AT BAY because it has a lid! Best investment i made this year lol! Its not too big or too smallPerfect for under kitchen sink when you don’t have space.Easy to install and works well. Good choice if you want to keep one section for compost material.
