Bought this pot as an upgrade to my old shrimp boil pot. Right out of the box, I was impressed with the quality and sturdiness. Inner basket is a great thing to have as well. I haven't used many of these pots - so i don't have a great base to compare to, but this works very well for small boils to larger (5 gallon) boils. The 36 qt fits perfectly on my burner and feels good and stable. I feel like this is a great value and love the pot.
